A 27-year-old man was arrested after he hit two police vehicles and a building in the 1600 block of Booker Court Wednesday night.

Around 7:17pm, the 27-year-old was being chased by officers from the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce (RATT) and the Western District in connection to a carjacking, according to police.

While officers were approaching the vehicle the 27-year-old man was driving, he sped away, leaving the scene.

Officials say he would then hit two police vehicles and then a building in the 1600 block of Booker Court.

He then tried to run away, was arrested, and was then taken to an area hospital, as he had minor injuries.

Another man was hospitalized along with three officers who were also treated for minor injuries at area hospitals.

BPD’s Traffic Investigation Unit is working to investigate all crashes related to the pursuit of this suspect.
